SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12

Saturday 10-11:30am Hoop of Happiness > BRING a wooden hoop approx. 12in diameter (solid or made from a bendy branch); string; paper and pen

Saturday 11:30am-12pm 5 Rhythms Ecstatic Dance > WEAR comfortable clothes; HAVE chair and yoga mat (if you have one); WATER to drink

Saturday 1-2pm Art from the Heart (no art experience necessary!) > HAVE READY: Media of your choice – any type of colored pencil, pen, pastel, marker or crayon. You can also use paints, however I don’t recommend them unless you are familiar with the medium. The learning curve to use them can be a distraction. Paper – any type of paper is fine. If all you have is printer paper or lined paper, we can work with that. If you are using paint, I recommend a thicker paper such as watercolor or mixed media paper. Optional – I love to engage as many senses as possible while creating, so you may want to have some of your favorite music ready. If you respond to scents, you may want to have incense, a scented candle or oil burner nearby. And some coffee, tea or chocolate is great to engage your sense of taste!

Saturday 3-4pm Taking Time for You: Great Energy from an Ignored Resentment (Quick power from Pausing, Power Steps, and a Toolbox) > HAVE journal or note paper (and ideally The Anger Makeover book).

Saturday 4-5pm Movement for everyBODY  > Gentle movements for the whole body. Simple stretches, light core moves, and a basic short intro to Tai Chi. WEAR comfy clothes; HAVE READY a mat or soft floor/carpet/ towel; a hard seat chair (if you have one). All moves can be done standing, seated and/or on the floor…. whatever is best for you.  This is for all ages and levels (movements will modify for all pre-existing conditions or injuries)

Saturday 6-7pm Spirit, Energy, & Power of the Gong: Meditative Soundscapes > You may want to use a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket or something comparable (while reclining), or sit on a comfortable firm chair.  You may want water, and to use ear buds, ear phones, or remote external speakers. SUGGESTED: start with mid-range volume and adjust to preference.

Saturday 7:30- 8:00pm Moon Salutation Yoga > HAVE yoga mat (or non-slip flooring). Do what you can!  You may watch this video to prepare: https://youtu.be/cm08p5inPyw

Saturday 8-9pm Restorative Yoga > HAVE READY: a place to lay down and put your legs up (couch, chair, wall); camping mat or blanket(s) for under and over you; pillows/cushions/yoga blocks to prop body parts; rolled towel
