Learning in the Pandemic

In special times of need (like with the current, ever-growing, worldwide pandemic), pulling our hearts, spirits and intentions together will prove essential. You may even choose to view this ‘special time’ as a grand opportunity, to find unity within peaceful compassion – in a way our species has not yet been capable of doing.

I’m spending a lot more time with the trees these days.  The trees have a root system that overlaps and entwines.  Nature is connected – and communicates
– in ways that we humans have not mastered. All water on the planet is connected.  The clouds, birds, bees, fish – travel the planet.  All elements and creatures communicate all the way ‘round the planet, under the planet, and above the planet.  Nature is at-one with itself.

We (humans) have much to learn.

I just read: Let’s Come Together in These Physically Distancing Times, an article by David Suzuki. If you like to read, you may want to take time with this one.

I also watched an extraordinarily well-made and easy-to-digest little video from Yale University, explaining the virus we’re now facing.  It’s the most concise, clear, and artistic piece of informational material I’ve seen thus far.  Even my teen watched the whole thing! If you like to be informed without being sucked into fear, this is the educational video to watch and share.

Finally, if you need to laugh, there’s this Vermont-style humorous ‘commercial’: Quilted Northern Rustic Weave. [Extra virgin Birch! Heheh! You know how I feel about Birch!]
